Corn Syrup Earth

Between the Earth's super-heated liquid core, and the solid crust we walk on is a 3,000 km thick, and very poorly understood layer known as the mantel. We know the mantel is constantly moving, but we don't know why. But thanks to these researchers at the University of Rhode Island we may be getting closer to an answer!
